Running a sub steadily at periscope depth is really an achievement for any model submariner.
The LTR6 offers an automated system to succeed in this kind of manoeuvre. The LTR6 does not only offer a combination of pitch and depth controller but an interactive system of the two devices in a single unit.

This new version of the LTR will hold submarine models at a depth set by the transmitter via the dive planes.

The LTR6 offers 3 receiver connections. The first is for the dive plane servo channel itself. The second for models with X-rudders. The third receiver input offers an on/off option operated by a 3-position switch on the transmitter; this will also allow for changing operation mode (absolute or relative depth control).

The LTR6 has 4 servo outputs of which 2 are inversed allowing for all servo/rudder combinations possible. Even large subs with sophisitcated X-rudder operated by 4 individual servos can therefore be handled easily.

A brand new feature of this latest version 6.1 is the possibility to change internal setup of the LTR by a so-called LCDbox (item no. 1575-LCD). In addition, the LCDbox will also visualize pressure and other operational data on its LCD screen.

The LTR6 is the state-of-the-art controller: Fully built-up with pressure sensor, inclinometer and microprocessor.
