Woven from Polyester multifilaments and monofilaments, the EXRI closely surrounds the wire bundle and protects effectively form any mechanical strain. There are no stiff closures sticking out so that the sleeving clings flexibly and smoothly to the object to protect.

The newly-developed structure of the EXRI allows good ventilation inside the sleeving, thus preventing accumulation of moisture. EXRI covers nearly 100% of the substrate's surface offering light weight, excellent cut-through and abrasion resistance in combination with easy access for inspection, repair or replacement of the protected objects within.
