Bow Thruster for TK-208 TYPHOON - new version 98,70 €

NEW VERSION with improved thruster and strong 540 motor.

This side thruster is designed to suit TK-208 TYPHOON, thereby making this model well maneuverable. Fitted with this option, the TYPHOON can be turned almost on the spot.

The electric motor is located within the middle deck and mounted to the inner side of the bulk head at bow. The motor is ready fitted with an 4mm shaft which protrudes the dry section of the model through the bulk head. The second shaft is fitted to the impeller within the thruster. This shafts connects to the motor shaft via a brass coupler.
The middle tube extension is fitted to the thruster with two silicone tubings, thereby allowing easy removal of the thruster from the hull.

This new thruster version allows long operating times for full turns without pausing!

The propulsion is provided by a flat propeller (paddle) sucking in water on one side and expelling it through the jet nozzles at high pressure on the other. This design is very robust and very stable and maintenance required is very little to none. The pump housing and the extension tubes are made of ABS. The motor is sealed with a G-ring and an O-ring thereby ensuring a good seal so that the thruster can be installed vertically as well as horizontally. The motor with the pump housing cover can be removed easily. The cover has an O-ring that ensures water-tight sealing of the entire assembly.
