This scale model in 1/30 is an absolute eye-catcher impressing not just by its size but also by superb detail. Despite its vintage looks the model’s construction is state-of-the-art. Main structure is sturdy but, nevertheless, lightweight and still easy to handle.

The hull is laminated in glass fibre with an additional reinforcement at the bow made of a machined Epoxy plate.

The main structure is made of CNC-milled plastic parts plug snuggly into each other. Banisters, doors and window frames are injection moulded. A full set of fittings is also part of the kit including brass, plastic and resin cast parts.

The paddle wheel is also made of injection moulded plastic and, therefore, 100% waterproof just like the rest of the model. Shafts and levers are made of machined brass.

The main drive consists of an electric motor flanged directly to a gear box bringing revolutions down true to scale and with loads of torque.

This complete kit comes with a bow thruster which is not scale, of course, but allows easier maneuvering.

The model’s lightweight construction also allows installation of a steam engine.
