These magnetic operating switches allow easy switching of main or receiver battery power simply by a magnet.
Mounted to the inner skin of the model's hull, moving a magnet at the respective area along the outside of the hull will turn main or receiver battery on or turn it off when the magnet is moved in the opposite direction.
This is especially helpful for model submarines as these models can be switched on and off without having to open the water tight compartment. But even for "normal" boats or all other models this kind of battery power activation and deactivation will prove convenient.
