For piston tank control a switch unit is necessary. The type of switch unit required depends on type and quantity of piston tanks used.
For a single Piston Tank type EA (with AutoStop) or TA (with AutoTrim) switch unit UNI is adequate. The UNI already offers three fail safe devices such as low voltage and transmitter signal monitoring.
This unit is available with the low voltage monitor pre-adjusted for 6V and 12V operation (approx. 4V or 9V respectively). The low battery voltage is also adjustable by turning the potentiometer on the switch board.
For two Piston Tanks type EA or TA switch unit TAE3 is recommended. This unit offers transmitter signal monitoring and maximum depth control (via pressure switch 5029).
Switch unit TAE3 can be upgraded with a Static Depth Controller which allows the static (not moving) model to be held at a desired depth.
All switch units can be equipped with a pressure switch which limits maximum operational depth of the model to approx. 1.8 meters.
The pressure switch is included in switch unit TAE3 as complete set.
For switch units UNI, UNIpro and CTS2 the pressure switch can be ordered separately (item no. 5029).
